In Tuesday's league game, the host Hurricane Redskins baseball team scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Huntington Highlanders.

The Redskins (30-5) will now prepare for their contest against South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Black Eagles come into the Mountain State contest with a 8-24 record. In their last contest, South Charleston was nipped by Logan (Logan, WV), 7-6, in a non-league contest.

The Highlanders now sport a 13-12 record. They play next when they host Cabell Midland for a Mountain State contest on Wednesday, April 25. Huntington will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 11-6 league loss to Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Knights record now stands at 14-18.
