Arizona High School Basketball - Agua Fria trounces Deer Valley

January 9, 2018: Glendale, AZ 85308

The Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ) basketball crushed the host Deer Valley Skyhawks (Glendale, AZ), 51-22 in Tuesday's league test.

The Owls (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights go into the 5A Desert West test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Lake Havasu was trounced by Verrado (Buckeye, AZ), 59-17, in a league test.

The Skyhawks now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Desert Edge for a 5A Desert West test on Thursday, January 11. Deer Valley will encounter a Scorpions squad coming off a 65-15 league win over Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ). The Scorpions record now stands at 13-5.
