New Mexico High School Football - Capital sneaks past Espanola Valley
October 19, 2012: Espanola, NM 87532 The Capital Jaguars football squad scored 13 points and restricted the host Espanola Valley Sun Devils to 6 in the Jaguars league victory on Friday.
The Jaguars now possess a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bernalillo for a 4A District 2 battle on Friday, October 26. Capital will face a Spartans squad coming off a 34-0 league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 0-7.
Coming up next, the Sun Devils face the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a 4A District 2 battle, on Friday, October 26. Espanola Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the battle with a 4-4 record after their 62-30 league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM).
