The Christopher Cougars volleyball team (Gilroy, CA), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Watsonville Wildcatz (Watsonville, CA)

The Wildcatz (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA). The Mustangs come into the Monterey Bay challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Monte Vista Christian was edged by Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars encounter the San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 9. Christopher will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Bearcats enter the test with a 8-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA).
