Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wood Wildcats (Vacaville, CA) and the host River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA), saw Wood's basketball squad overcome River Valley by a tally of 63-43.

With the victory, Wood improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Golden Valley (Merced, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 12. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Golden Valley lost 98-64 in their recent non-league challenge against El Camino (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Del Campo Cougars (Fair Oaks, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 15. River Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
