September 22, 2018: Portland, TN 37148 The Cooper Jaguars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Portland Panthers to 1 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Jaguars now have a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Conner for a District 33 game on Tuesday, September 25. Cooper will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 9-8.
The Panthers (20-5) will now prepare for their game against White House-Heritage (White House, TN). The Patriots enter the AA District 11 game with a 23-11 record. In their last game, White House-Heritage held off White House (White House, TN), 3-0, in a league game.
