Montana High School Basketball - Sweet Grass County can't hold off Anaconda

December 9, 2017: Big Timber, MT 59011

The Anaconda Copperheads basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Sweet Grass County Sheepherders to 41 in the Copperheads non-league win on Saturday.

With the win, Anaconda upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Copperheads travel to Bigfork (Bigfork, MT) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-0.

Next up, the Sheepherders play the Three Forks Wolves (Three Forks, MT) in a B District 5 bout, on Sunday, December 17. Sweet Grass County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 65-43 non-league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, MT).
