September 30, 2016: Fayetteville, WV 25840 The Fayetteville Pirates football squad scored 48 points and restricted the visiting PikeView Panthers to 7 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nicholas County for a non-league battle on Friday, October 7. Fayetteville will play a Grizzlies squad coming off a 25-9 league win over James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-0.
