October 10, 2008: Northport, AL 35475 In Friday's league game, the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) football team were victorious over the visiting Hueytown Golden Gophers (Hueytown, AL), by a score of 38-20.
The Wildcats (7-0) will now prepare for their game against Bryant (Cottondale, AL). The Stampede come into the 6A Region 5 game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Bryant was knocked off by Jackson-Olin (Birmingham, AL), 30-6, in a league game.
