Connecticut High School Basketball - Weaver trounces Bulkeley
February 18, 2011: Hartford, CT 06112 The Weaver Beavers (Hartford, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Bulkeley Bulldogs (Hartford, CT), 78-40 in Friday's non-league test.
The Beavers (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Windsor (Windsor, CT). The Warriors go into the Central Connecticut - North test with a 18-2 record.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-14 record. They take the field next when they host Plainville for a Central Connecticut - South test on Monday, February 21. Bulkeley will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 72-61 non-league loss to Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-10.
