North Carolina High School Basketball - Central Cabarrus overwhelms Northwest Cabarrus

January 23, 2017: Concord, NC 28027

Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) and the host Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC), saw Central Cabarrus's basketball squad wallop Northwest Cabarrus by a tally of 66-23.

With the victory, Central Cabarrus improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Concord (Concord, NC) to play the Spiders in a Southern Piedmont 3A challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Spiders come into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Concord lost 49-36 in their recent non-league challenge against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the Jay M. Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 3A challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record.
