Franklin Panthers (Franklin, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sharon Eagles (Sharon, MA), 78-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Panthers host Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA) to play the Tigers in a Hockomock bout on Friday, February 2. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Oliver Ames lost 62-50 in their recent league bout against Canton (Canton, MA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Foxborough Warriors (Foxborough, MA) in a Hockomock bout, on Friday, February 2. Sharon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 62-58 league win over Attleboro (Attleboro, MA).
