Winona Winhawks (Winona, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Faribault Falcons (Faribault, MN), 75-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Winona upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Winhawks travel to Owatonna (Owatonna, MN) to clash with the Huskies in a Big 9 bout on Friday, February 2. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Owatonna won 82-55 in their recent league bout against Northfield (Northfield, MN)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Austin Packers (Austin, MN) in a Big 9 bout, on Friday, February 2. Faribault will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Packers go into the bout with a 15-1 record after their 89-56 league win over Mankato West (Mankato, MN).
