Nebraska High School Basketball - McCool Junction overwhelms High Plains

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) and the host High Plains Storm (Polk, NE), saw McCool Junction's basketball squad wallop High Plains by a tally of 61-30.

With the victory, McCool Junction improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE) to confront the Red Hornets in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Red Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Heartland Lutheran lost 34-20 in their recent league challenge against Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE)

Next up, the Storm confront the Nebraska Christian Eagles (Central City, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. High Plains will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 34-20 league win over Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE).
