January 13, 2018: American Canyon, CA 94503 The American Canyon Wolves (American Canyon, CA) basketball felled the visiting Hayward Farmers (Hayward, CA), 56-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolves (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Bethel (Vallejo, CA). The Jaguars go into the Solano County Athletic Conference test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Bethel thwarted Fairfield (Fairfield, CA), 60-57, in a league test.
The Farmers now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Berkeley for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 17. Hayward will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 59-51 league win over San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 14-3.
