Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host United Lions (Armagh, PA), 59-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Homer-Center upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Saltsburg (Saltsburg, PA) to play the Trojans in a Heritage bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Saltsburg won 66-59 in their recent league bout against Blairsville (Blairsville, PA)

Next up, the Lions play the Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 24. United will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 73-38 league loss to West Branch (Morrisdale, PA).
