November 30, 2016: Glenelg, MD 21042 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Glenelg Country Dragons (Glenelg, MD) and the visiting Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA), saw Glenelg Country's basketball squad knock off Saint John Paul the Great Catholic by a count of 83-65.
With the victory, Glenelg Country upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Dragons host Bullis (Potomac, MD) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 3. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Wolves play the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Wildebeests come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 70-46 league win over Smith Jewish Day School (Rockville, MD).
