Nebraska High School Basketball - St. Cecilia crushes Aquinas
January 20, 2018: Hastings, NE 68901 St. Cecilia Bluehawks (Hastings, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad wallop the visiting Aquinas Blugolds (La Crosse, WI), 47-22 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, St. Cecilia improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Bluehawks host Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE) to play the Stars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Stars come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Kearney Catholic won 41-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Aquinas (David City, NE)
Next up, the Blugolds play the Logan Rangers (La Crosse, WI) in a Mississippi Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Aquinas will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 71-64 league win over Holmen (Holmen, WI).
