October 15, 2011: Lafayette, LA 70501 The First Baptist Christian Eagles volleyball team (Slidell, LA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA)
The (14-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamilton Christian (Lake Charles, LA). The Warriors enter the V District 1 challenge with a 11-15 record. In their last challenge, Hamilton Christian went down by Episcopal of Acadiana (Cade, LA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles encounter the Ecole Classique Spartans (Metairie, LA) in a V District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. First Baptist Christian will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 11-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA).
