The Parkland Matadors routed the visiting San Elizario Eagles basketball team by a final score of 88-49 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Matadors face the Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 game, on Friday, January 5. Parkland will attempt to move on its 8-11 season record. The Rangers enter the game with a 6-13 record after their 61-37 league loss to Canutillo (Canutillo, TX).
