Pennsylvania High School Softball - Central Tech loses to Warren
May 10, 2012: Erie, PA 16508 The Warren Dragons softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Central Tech Falcons to 1 in the Dragons league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Warren moves its record to 14-1 on the year. The Dragons host Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA) to clash with the Lakers in a District 10 Region 7 game on Saturday, May 12. The Lakers come into the game with a record of 4-11. Mercyhurst Prep lost 11-3 in their recent league game against McDowell (Erie, PA)
In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Titusville Rockets (Titusville, PA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 12. Central Tech will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record.
Game Summary
Kaitlin Ishman went 3 for 4 with a double, home run and five RBI, Alexa Bupp went three for four with two doubles and a home run and Kristin Hultquist went two for three with a home run and three RBI to lead the Lady Dragons at the plate. Taylor Mineweaser scored three runs and Jaimie Eaton also had two RBI.
Defensivel the Lady Dragons were led by Alexa Bupp who had twelve strikeouts and two assists. She had a part in 14 out of 15 of Central's outs for the day.
