Louisiana High School Basketball - Plainview crushes Rapides
December 4, 2009: Glenmora, LA 71433 Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rapides Mustangs (Lecompte, LA), 61-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Plainview upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Hornets host Bell City (Bell City, LA) to encounter the Bruins in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 8. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Bell City lost 37-32 in their recent non-league bout against South Beauregard (Longville, LA)
Next up, the Mustangs encounter the Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 8. Rapides will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 57-53 non-league win over Pitkin (Pitkin, LA).
