The Richardson Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Boyd Broncos to 42 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Highlands for a 5A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, December 6. Richardson will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 58-32 non-league loss to McKinney (McKinney, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-8.

The Broncos (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rowlett (Rowlett, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region II District 10 contest with a 6-8 record.
