Alabama High School Basketball - Sparkman holds off Buford
December 21, 2015: Harvest, AL 35749 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) and the visiting Buford Wolves (Buford, GA), saw Sparkman's basketball squad hold off Buford by a tally of 38-33.
With the victory, Sparkman improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Senators travel to Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 22. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 5-3. Langston Hughes lost 51-46 in their recent non-league contest against Hiram (Hiram, GA)
The Wolves (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Wolverines come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Miller Grove was nudged by Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA), 59-49, in a league contest.
