South Carolina High School Basketball - Spring Valley thwarts Stephenson
December 21, 2009: Columbia, SC 29229 The Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC) basketball felled the visiting Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA), 67-55 in Monday's non-league test.
The Vikings (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Peddie (Hightstown, NJ). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Peddie defeated Parkway Academy (Miramar, FL), 57-41, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wesleyan for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 22. Stephenson will clash with a squad coming off a 60-54 non-league win over Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA). The record now stands at 8-0.
