The Alexander Cougars (Douglasville, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Shaw Raiders (Columbus, GA), 70-61 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Raiders now own a 17-10 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 20. Shaw will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 51-50 non-league win over Eastside (Covington, GA). The Knights record now stands at 24-4.
