December 13, 2014: Carthage, TN 37030 Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Page Patriots (Franklin, TN), 56-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Smith County upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Owls host Livingston Academy (Livingston, TN) to clash with the Wildcats in a AA District 8 bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Livingston Academy won 65-38 in their recent league bout against Central (Murfreesboro, TN)
Next up, the Patriots clash with the Stratford Spartans (Nashville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 13. Page will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 69-44 league loss to Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN).
