William Rittenberry,Chris Ponder, and Brody Colle combined on a three hitter as Carthage remained undefeated on the young season. Rittenberry(1-0) in his first ever varsity outing threw 4 strong innings surrendering 3 hits. He walked 1 and struck out 3. Chris Ponder threw two perfect innings, and Brody Colle pitched the seventh striking out two. Offensively Joey Harrison doubled and Beaux Gulilbeau and Jacob Blissett drove in a run a piece with RBI singles.
