April 15, 2011: Bellevue, WA 98008 The Juanita Rebels got by the host Interlake Saints baseball team by a count of 2-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty for a 2A/3A KingCo bout on Monday, April 18. Juanita will face a Patriots team coming off a 10-9 non-league win over Skyline (Sammamish, WA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-3.
Next, the Saints face the Mount Si Wildcats (Snoqualmie, WA) in a 2A/3A KingCo bout, on Monday, April 18. Interlake will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 8-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA).
Game Summary
Taylor Dantini made his varsity debut throwing the first 4 1/3 innings. Avery Britton's sac fly in the 11 inning driving in Conner Jackson with what proved to be the winning run. Juanita relievers threw 6 2/3 shut out innings. Mitch Gebe went 3-5, and JJ Caldwell went 2-4 with the first RBI.
