Centennial Eagles (Ellicott City, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD), 69-67 in a league bout.

With the win, Centennial upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Old Mill (Millersville, MD) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Old Mill won 64-44 in their recent league bout against Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD)

Next up, the Lightning play the Friends Quakers (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 26. Long Reach will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
