Highland Fighting Scots (Sparta, OH) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Mt. Gilead Indians (Mt. Gilead, OH), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Fighting Scots battle the North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) in a Mid-Ohio match, on Saturday, October 8. Highland will attempt to better on its 16-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 11-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pleasant (Marion, OH).

With the loss, Mt. Gilead drops to 1-11 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Cardington-Lincoln (Cardington, OH) to battle the Pirates in a Mid-Ohio match on Saturday, October 8.
