Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Farrell crushes Hickory
January 21, 2017: Farrell, PA 16121 Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA), 69-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Farrell upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Steelers host Reynolds (Greenville, PA) to clash with the Raiders in a District 10 Region 1 bout on Monday, January 23. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Reynolds won 38-15 in their recent league bout against Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA)
Next up, the Hornets clash with the Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 bout, on Monday, January 23. Hickory will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 39-35 league loss to Girard (Girard, PA).
