Alaska High School Basketball - Mt. Edgecumbe ripped by Thunder Mountain
January 27, 2018: Sitka, AK 99835 The Thunder Mountain Falcons basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Mt. Edgecumbe Braves to 40 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Juneau-Douglas for a 4A Southeast contest on Friday, February 2. Thunder Mountain will battle a Crimson Bears team coming off a 69-68 non-league loss to East (Anchorage, AK). The Crimson Bears record now stands at 8-8.
The Braves (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Grace Christian was routed by Anchorage Christian (Anchorage, AK), 55-48, in a league contest.
