North Carolina High School Basketball - Clinton succumbs to Midway
January 3, 2014: Dunn, NC 28366 The Midway Raiders topped the visiting Clinton Dark Horses basketball team by a final score of 76-65 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Raiders face the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a 2A/1A Conference 17 game, on Tuesday, January 7. Midway will attempt to move on its 10-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 6-2 record after their 79-73 non-league loss to James Kenan (Warsaw, NC).
With the defeat, Clinton moves to 9-1 on the year. The Dark horses travel to Union (Rose Hill, NC) to face the Spartans in a 2A/1A Conference 17 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 2-7. Union lost 66-35 in their recent league game against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC)
