October 7, 2011: Attalla, AL 35954 In Friday's league match, the host Etowah Blue Devils football squad scored a good 21-7 victory over the Arab Knights.
In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Southside Panthers (Gadsden, AL) in a 5A Region 7 match, on Friday, October 14. Etowah will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 20-0 league loss to Boaz (Boaz, AL).
The Knights (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Boaz (Boaz, AL). The Pirates enter the 5A Region 7 match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Boaz thwarted Southside (Gadsden, AL), 20-0, in a league match.
