Illinois High School Basketball - Rockford Christian ripped by Richmond-Burton
January 30, 2015: Richmond, IL 60071 In Friday's league challenge, the host Richmond-Burton Rockets basketball squad scored a big 75-46 victory over the Rockford Christian Royals.
With the victory, Richmond-Burton improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Antioch (Antioch, IL) to play the Sequoits in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 5. The Sequoits come into the challenge with a record of 6-11.
Next up, the Royals play the Burlington Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) in a Big Northern - Red challenge, on Saturday, February 7. Rockford Christian will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 9-13 record after their 80-52 league win over North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL).
