September 17, 2011: Hammond, LA 70401 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Aquinas Falcons (Hammond, LA) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Ridgewood Golden Eagles (Metairie, LA), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Falcons battle the Lusher Lions (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 17. Aquinas will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to O. Perry Walker (New Orleans, LA).
With the loss, Ridgewood drops to 4-10 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA) to battle the Cajuns in a V District 7 contest on Tuesday, September 20. The Cajuns come into the contest with a record of 8-5. Metairie Park Country Day lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against El Dorado (Placentia, CA)
