The Panthers (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Rockets come into the Mid-Illini challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Limestone was tipped by East Peoria (East Peoria, IL), 41-7, in a league challenge.
The Potters now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Metamora for a Mid-Illini outing on Friday, October 7. Morton will encounter a Redbirds team coming off a 17-16 league loss to Pekin (Pekin, IL). The Redbirds record now stands at 4-2.
