Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pottsgrove Falcons (Pottsgrove, PA), 40-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Allentown Central Catholic upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 8. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Wyomissing Spartans (Wyomissing, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 8. Pottsgrove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 42-32 non-league loss to Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA).
