Pennsylvania High School Basketball - St. Frances Academy thwarted by Lower Merion
December 27, 2012: Ardmore, PA 19003 The St. Frances Academy Panthers basketball team (Baltimore, MD), was toppled 73-62 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA)
The Aces now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Joseph's Prep for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 29. Lower Merion will battle a Hawks team coming off a 91-68 non-league win over Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-1.
The Panthers (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD). The Gaels enter the MIAA A contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Mount St. Joseph ran past Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC), 77-57, in a non-league contest.
