South Dakota High School Basketball - Lead-Deadwood overwhelmed by Custer

The Custer Wildcats basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers to 43 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

With the win, Custer upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD) to play the Bison in a A District 15 bout on Friday, February 18. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 1-17. Hot Springs lost 86-52 in their recent non-league bout against Little Wound (Kyle, SD)

Next up, the Golddiggers play the Red Cloud Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 19. Lead-Deadwood will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 72-44 non-league win over Chadron (Chadron, NE).
