Kansas High School Basketball - Yates Center crushes Altoona-Midway
December 4, 2017: Yates Center, KS 66783 Yates Center Wildcats (Yates Center, KS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Altoona-Midway Jets (Buffalo, KS), 53-20 in a league bout.
With the win, Yates Center upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Southern Coffey County (Leroy, KS) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Southern Coffey County won 46-27 in their recent non-league bout against Sedan (Sedan, KS)
Next up, the Jets play the Sedan Devils (Sedan, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Altoona-Midway will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Devils go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 46-27 non-league loss to Southern Coffey County (Leroy, KS).
