The Illini Bluffs Tigers held off the visiting Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Tigers now have a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenview for a Tomahawk test on Tuesday, October 2.

The Hilltoppers (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL). The Crusaders enter the non-league test with a 18-3 record. In their last test, Althoff Catholic held off Carbondale (Carbondale, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
