The McDonogh 35 Roneagles basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting St. Augustine Purple Knights to 47 in the Roneagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Roneagles now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Higgins for a non-league contest on Friday, January 9. McDonogh 35 will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 53-45 league loss to Cox (Harvey, LA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 7-7.

The Purple Knights (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against East Jefferson (Metairie, LA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record.
