September 22, 2006: Palmetto, FL 34221 The Palmetto Tigers football squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting Cape Coral Seahawks to 7 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Palmetto upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Jesuit (Tampa, FL) to battle the Tigers in a 3A District 11 battle on Friday, September 29. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 3-2. Jesuit lost 35-10 in their recent non-league battle against Alonso (Tampa, FL)
Next, the Seahawks battle the North Fort Myers Red Knights (North Fort Myers, FL) in a 5A District 12 battle, on Friday, September 29. Cape Coral will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Red Knights come into the battle with a 4-0 record after their 28-7 non-league win over Riverdale (Fort Myers, FL).
