Charter Oak suffered a loss to South Hills, 2-1, in the bottom of the seventh inning on a walk-off hit by the Huskies. Junior left-hander Jon Reid took the loss. Reid pitched the complete game, scattering five hits with seven strikeouts. Freshman Nick Hernandez hit a solo home run in the first inning for the Chargers. Third baseman Zo Carrillo was 2 for 3, including a double. C.O. is now 4-5 in the Sierra League and 11-6 overall.
