September 10, 2018: Westside, IA 51467 The Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA) volleyball nudged the visiting Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto Rams (Mapleton, IA), 3-2 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, Ar-We-Va upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Rockets travel to West Harrison (Mondamin, IA) to face the Hawkeyes in a Western Valley - South outing on Thursday, September 13. The Hawkeyes go into the outing with a record of 4-0. West Harrison won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA)
The Rams now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Westwood for a Western Valley - North outing on Tuesday, September 11. Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto will face a Rebels squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Siouxland Christian (Sioux City, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 3-3.
