February 8, 2012: Victoria, MN 55386 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Blake Bears (Minneapolis, MN) and the host Holy Family Catholic Fire (Victoria, MN), saw Blake's basketball squad trounce Holy Family Catholic by a score of 66-41.
With the victory, Blake improves its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Brooklyn Center (Brooklyn Center, MN) to play the Centaurs in a Tri-Metro - West challenge on Friday, February 10. The Centaurs come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Brooklyn Center lost 99-70 in their recent non-league challenge against Johnson (St. Paul, MN)
Next up, the Fire play the Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Holy Family Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-18 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 75-50 league loss to Waconia (Waconia, MN).
