Georgia High School Basketball - Monroe Area tops North Hall

Monroe Area Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA), 66-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Monroe Area upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 10. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 9-7. Walnut Grove won 63-49 in their recent league bout against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 10. North Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 54-51 league win over Jackson County (Jefferson, GA).
