North Carolina High School Basketball - West Charlotte succumbs to Hopewell

The Hopewell Titans topped the visiting West Charlotte Lions basketball team by a final score of 49-35 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Titans face the Hough [William A.] Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a 4A I-Meck game, on Tuesday, January 24. Hopewell will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 10-6 record after their 50-38 league win over Vance (Charlotte, NC).

With the defeat, West Charlotte moves to 7-7 on the year. The Lions host North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC) to face the Vikings in a 4A I-Meck game on Tuesday, January 24.
